Dr Johann Eloff is a Sunshine Coast Clinical Psychologist known for his compassion and commitment to high-quality mental health care. With over 15 years of experience across both public and private settings, Johann brings professional maturity and a genuine dedication to each client’s long-term growth and wellbeing.

He holds a Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Queensland and works with adults navigating complex emotional challenges, including trauma, personality disorders, chronic depression, and anxiety.

Johann’s treatment approaches include Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), evidence-based methods that support deep emotional processing and long-term change. He is an Advanced Certified Schema Therapist with the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST) and has completed EMDR training. He integrates both models to help clients move beyond stuck patterns and build resilience and clarity.

Johann’s genuine care for his clients and dedication to clinical excellence earned him the inaugural Australian Patients Association Outstanding Psychologist Award in 2024 for excellence in healthcare.

He has a strong interest in supporting other health professionals in their mental health journey, helping them navigate burnout, emotional fatigue, and personal wellbeing.

Johann is also a Board-approved supervisor and provides clinical supervision to psychologists and registrars. His supervision style is reflective, structured, and practical, with a focus on Schema Therapy, EMDR-informed work, and case formulation for complex presentations.

He is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, endorsed in Clinical Psychology, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
